PDP disowns Yar’Adua presidential campaign organisation – Tribune

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disowned the presidential campaign organisation being coordinated by Senator Polycarp Nwite for the re-election of President Umaru Yar’Adua in 2011.
The party believed that it posed a distraction to the effort by the president to implement his programmes.
The party, in a statement signed by its national publicity secretary, Professor Rufai Alkali, in Abuja, on Sunday, said it was not aware of such campaign organisation.
