Police to question PDP aspirants over Soludo’s dad – The Nation

October 30, 2009 by Bunmi Awolusi

There was still no trace yesterday of Pa Simeon Soludo’s whereabouts.

The father of former Central Bank Governor Chukwuma Soludo was kidnapped on Tuesday by unknown gunmen. He was getting set for supper when the abductors stormed his Isuanioma home in Anambra State.

The police yesterday invited all Anambra State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirants over the incident.

Soludo, who picked the party’s ticket for the February 6, 2010 governorship election after a rancorous primary, is expected at the meeting at the Command Headquarters, Amawbia.

Sources said the aspirants were invited by Commissioner of Police Philemon Leha.
