Reps may give President deadline on budget – The Guardian

Delay associated with the Presidency’s late presentation of the yearly national budget for consideration yesterday dominated debates in the House of Representatives.

Among other options, the Lower House tinkered with giving the Executive arm of government a time-frame for the submission of the economic document to the Legislature.

The chamber also yesterday summoned the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (PPMC) and Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) over allegation of fraud in the importation of fuel.
