Sale of FG houses: Senate probes N400bn missing funds – Daily Trust

The Senate Committee on Housing and Urban Development has commenced investigation into the alleged misappropriation of the N400 billion realised from the sale of Federal Government houses by the Presidential Implementation Committee (PIC).
Speaking at a public hearing on the matter yesterday, Chairman Senate Committee on Housing and Urban Development, Senator Ikechukwu Obiorah (PDP, Anambra South) said the receipts of payments during the exercise does not tally with the funds remitted to government coffers by the PIC.
