The Senate yesterday dismissed speculations about a plot to impeach the Senate President, David Mark.
Meanwhile, indications have emerged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may probe the originators of the rumours that some PDP members are scrambling for the President’s job.
Spokesman to the Senate, and Chairman of its Committee on Information and Media Affairs, Ayogu Eze, in an interview in Abuja yesterday, declared that the plot only existed in the imagination of the peddlers of the rumour, noting that there was nothing to it at all.
