Doctors at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State, yesterday suspended their three-day old strike.
The strike was called off following a negotiation with the hospital’s management.
The negotiation began on Tuesday.
The UCH branch of the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) had embarked on strike on Monday, following a resolution at a congress last weekend.
ARD Secretary, Dr Sunday Ekanem, said the decision to suspend the strike was reached at a congress held yesterday.
