We Won’t Return To Work Unless… –Oyo JUSUN – Daily Independent

As the strike embarked upon by judiciary workers under the aegis of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) enters its second week today, Oyo State Chairman of the union, Bayo Obisesan, has vowed that unless government acceded to their demands, the workers would not return to work.
Obisesan, in a chat with Daily Independent, said the strike became necessary when all peaceful avenues to make the state government see reason failed.
‘’All peaceful avenues have been exhausted,’’ he added.
Obisesan noted that the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) had since February written to all the state governors to implement their demands, including unified salary structure for all judicial workers across the country but lamented that only Bayelsa, Jigawa and Adamawa states have so far complied with the directive.
