As the strike embarked upon by judiciary workers under the aegis of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) enters its second week today, Oyo State Chairman of the union, Bayo Obisesan, has vowed that unless government acceded to their demands, the workers would not return to work.

President Umaru Yar,Adua reaffirmed in Yenagoa on Monday that the amnesty offered militants is not a ruse but a gambit to ensure peace and development in the Deep South.
He advised criminals disguising as militants to have a change of heart when he spoke at a reception organised for his one-day visit, during which he commissioned projects completed by the present administration in Bayelsa State.
