Reliable sources in Saudi Arabia, yesterday, told Vanguard that the President, Alhaji Umaru Yar’Adua was in stable condition, even as the Senate President, Chief David Mark, called on Nigerians to pray for nine consecutive days for the quick recovery of the President.

President Umaru Yar’Adua is expected to be the special guest of honour at the Transparency of Nigeria Award in which the First Lady, Hajia Turai Yar’Adua, is slated for an award.
The event which is being put together by Transparency Nigeria, an anti-corruption organisation, will inducts prominent Nigerians at a ceremony slated for December 4, 2009 in Lagos.
