Former Delta State Governor Chief James Ibori walked away a free man yesterday when the Federal High Court, Asaba quashed all the 170 charges of money laundering instituted against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Loyalists of the immediate past governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, were apprehensive yesterday as the much- expected ruling by the Federal High Court, Asaba, on the application filed by Ibori seeking to strike out the 170-count charge filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) did not hold.
