The campaign for Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chair Prof Maurice Iwu’s removal intensified yesterday, with Nobel Laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka and others insisting that he must go.
Speaking during the celebration of the first anniversary of Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole in office, they said there would be no free and fair election if Iwu is not removed.

University teachers and the Federal Government resumed talks yesterday, raising hopes of a resolution of their disagreement.
The talks dragged on late into the night, with Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole as mediator.
