Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Adeyemi Ikuforiji yesterday warned Governor Babatunde Fashola against listening to those he described as ‘noise makers’.
Ikuforiji, who spoke after Fashola presented next year’s budget on the floor of the Assembly, said: “My advice to His Excellency is that you should concentrate on your assignment and not be distracted by the ‘noise makers’. The real measure of your performance will be known after your exit from office. Most of those who claim to love you the most today, we remember were those who nearly fought your predecessor and his loyalists to a standstill when it became clear that your predecessor gave his full support for you to succeed him.

Citing violation of laws on pharmacy practice, members of Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), Lagos Branch are seeking an urgent review of all relevant drug laws.
The pharmacists, in a letter to Governor Babatunde Fashola, signed by its Chairman, Felix Anieh, said: “It has become imperative to draw the attention of Your Excellency to glaring procedural defects in tackling some alleged violations by some registered Community Pharmacies in Lagos State.
