FG to concession Sagamu-Benin, Enugu-Onitsha, nine other highways – The Punch

The Federal government has begun moves to concession 11 new Federal Highways to the private sector under a Public Private Partnership arrangement.
According to a document on the Federal Government’s proposed PPP on Road Projects, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent, the projects are located in the South West North West; North Central ; South -South and South East geo-political zones.
They include: Lagos Badagry Seme Border Dual Carriageway ; Shagamu Benin Dual Carriageway ; Ibadan Ilorin Dual Carriageway; and Lagos Iseyin and Benin Asaba Dual Carriageway.
Others are : Abuja Kaduna Dual Carriageway; Kaduna Kano Dual Carriageway; Enugu Port Harcourt Road ; Enugu Onitsha Road ; River Niger Bridge at Nupeko and River Katsina Ala Bridge at Buruku
