Asaba—A 74-year-old widow (names withheld) who was kidnapped at Illah, Oshimili North local government area of Delta state last November, has died allegedly in the hands of her abductors.
Already, detectives from Zone 5, Benin City, who are currently investigating the matter, exhumed the body of the woman from a shallow grave last week Thursday.

About six people were killed in Imo state Thursday as robbers and kidnappers invaded Orlu and Ikeduru areas of the state. Two kidnapped Indians were however, rescued with some of the gang members seriously injured when a team of policemen led by the police commissioner, Mr. Aloysius Okorie, confronted the gang at Ama Nwozuzu in Ikeduru.
