Nigerian Eagle Airlines Signs Codeshare with Ethiopian Airlines

Nigerian Eagle Airlines (former Virgin Nigeria) and Ethiopian Airlines has signed a network wide codeshare and interline agreement.
The codeshare ceremony signed by Capt. Dapo Olumide and Ato Girma Wake is coming on the heels of an earlier technical service agreement in August by both airlines in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Nigeria: Arik Air Announces its First Transatlantic Route

Arik Air, Nigeria’s largest commercial airline, today announced the expansion of its international services with the launch of non-stop flights between Lagos and New York (JFK) beginning on Sunday, 29 November 2009. The new route will be Arik Air’s third international service outside of the West Africa region, following the commencement of daily flights to London Heathrow in December 2008 and to Johannesburg, South Africa, in June 2009. Dana Air to Begin Direct Lagos-Kano Flights

Dana Airlines Limited is set to take delivery of another Boeing MD83 aircraft, bringing to four the total number of aircrafts in its fleet. The airline has also announced that it would commence direct flights from Lagos to Kano with return flights via Abuja in a few weeks. Read more
