The Federal Government has recorded a N10 billion loss from its operations at the four sea ports in Port Harcourt and Onne in Rivers State, Warri (Delta State) and Calabar (Cross River).
The loss was attributed to fraud in the goods clearing procedure as several companies, including the oil majors, allegedly evaded payment of duties on their imported goods and equipment.
