A Federal High Court in Abuja has disqualified Lagos lawyer Festus Keyamo from prosecuting the National Chairman of Police Equipment Foundation (PEF) Chief Kenny Martins for alleged fraud.
The court’s decision came after it upheld the argument by Kenny Martin’s counsel Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) to disqualify Keyamo from handling the prosecution.

Federal Capital Territory Police Commissioner John Haruna said an average of 10 policemen die in Abuja every month.
Receiving members of the Police Service Commission (PSC) who visited the FCT Police Command yesterday, the commissioner said the officers are either killed by mischief makers while on duty or die as a result of duty-related ailments. “The causes of deaths are mostly duty-related,” he said.

Asaba—A 74-year-old widow (names withheld) who was kidnapped at Illah, Oshimili North local government area of Delta state last November, has died allegedly in the hands of her abductors.
Already, detectives from Zone 5, Benin City, who are currently investigating the matter, exhumed the body of the woman from a shallow grave last week Thursday.
