The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday threatened to sanction any member that takes the party to court without first exhausting the internal mechanisms for seeking redress.
Some aggrieved aspirants from Anambra State had taken the party to court, following the selection of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as the party’s governorship candidate by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

A Police team from the Homicide Section, including a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), were at the Rutam House head office of The Guardian yesterday to speak to colleagues of the late Assistant News Editor of the newspaper, Bayo Ohu, as part of the investigation into the murder.
