Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Humphrey Abah has denied reports credited to him that the administration of erstwhile President Olusegun Obasanjo wasted N15 billion.
Mr. Abah, who disowned the reports while addressing newsmen in Abuja, wondered why he could be so misquoted at a meeting held under a closed door without the presence of any pressman.

For alleged non-compliance with due process, the Federal Government has suspended the $8 billion railway contract awarded to a Chinese company by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Instead, government has opted to rehabilitate the existing old tracks, which is expected to begin soon.
