This is a thing that is known by the Nigerian Constitution, the tradition and all countries where we have bicameral legislature. So, I don’t think this should now take us back”

National Chairman of the party, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor had summoned the leadership of the Senate and that of the House of Representatives yesterday with a strong directive that the Senator David Mark-led Senate should allow for the presentation of the 2010 budget in the lower chambers.

Mega Summit Movement (MSM) and National Democratic Movement (NDM) have been launched by major politicians in Nigeria, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Major General Muhammadu Buharii preparatory to the formation of a broad based political party aimed at challenging the PDP in 2011.

Based on this development, Ogbulafor who was speaking while receiving the preliminary report of General Ike Nwachukwu-led PDP Committee of Elders said the coming together of opposition parties in Nigeria posed a challenge to the party.
