Aggrieved states and the Federal Government yesterday said they had reached a partial agreement on the dispute over illegal deductions from the Federation Account from 2004 and 2007.
The states had approached the Supreme Court in a bid to compel the Federal Government to refund all monies illegally deducted from the Federation Account. But the Federal Government sought an out-of-court settlement after evaluating the claims contained in the suit.
