Inspector General of Police (IGP) Solomon Arase has disclosed how he once joined students that hauled stones at the police during his days as an undergraduate at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
According to NATIONAL MIRROR, Arase disclosed this in Benin City on Thursday, April 14 at the University Benin during his official visit to the Edo state police command to conclude a nationwide tour of inspection of 37 police commands.
He said, ''When we observed the presence of police in our midst on campus, as students, we instantly cut short our difference, became reunited to fight those (the police) we perceived as a common enemy. I remember, I was among students that hauled stones at the police. But then, see I am now the one at the helm as Inspector General of Police''.
