Days after his inauguration, President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to name appoint the Secretary to the Government of the federation and other cabinet members which do not require senate approval.



While President Buhari stays silent on important cabinet positions, recent political events suggest that the President may pick a former governor as SGF. Former Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos and Former Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti.

Both men stand a chance for similar reasons:

• They are both level headed
• They both hail from the same region
• Ardent supporters of the Muhammadu Buhari presidency
• They're both highly efficient
