Ahead of Saturday's election, Wealthy Citizens and foreigners are fleeing Nigeria.
A report by DAILY INDEPENDENT revealed that the number of passengers travelling out of the country through the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos has increased tremendously since the beginning of election week.
While many airport staff blame the increase in air passengers on the forthcoming elections, British Airways Regional Commercial Manager, West Africa, Mr. Kola Olayinka claims the increase in passenger movement is due to the Easter celebration and for the fact many schools are on vacation .
Regardless of who wins the Presidential election, there is expected to be an outburst of violence in different parts of the country.
