Veteran Nollywood actor and Commissioner of Culture and Tourism, Delta State, Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on accounts of a N50 million embezzlement investigation. pulse.com.ng reports that the ace thespian allegedly connived with the Acting General Manager of the state’s tourism board, Ms. Philo Nkem Ajufo to misappropriate funds released last year for the Delta Expo event which did not hold. An EFCC source who confirmed the incident said that RMD has been avoiding the anti-graft agency and not picking up calls placed to his phones.
