The Pakistani girl, Malala Yousufzai who was shot by the Taliban on October 9, 2012 for supposedly promoting west thinking, and whose case sparked outcry around the world; is slated to undergo one more surgery as part of the steps to bringing her to full recovery in Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, UK.
According to Dr. Dave Rosser, a specialist in the hospital who commented on the 15 year old’s recovery, the operation was necessary in order to completely replace a shattered bone in her skull. she also added that the girl has made a “remarkable recovery”.
In her statement, “She’s very lively, she’s got a great sense of humour”. “he’s not naive at all about what happened to her and the situation she’s looking forward to in terms of being a high-profile person, and potentially a high-profile target. She’s not naive to any of that, but she remains incredibly determined, incredibly cheerful and incredibly determined to speak for her cause.
