Kanye West has voiced support for Diddy amid his legal troubles, calling him a “hero” and claiming he is being unfairly targeted. West also launched a Yeezy-Sean John collaboration to aid Diddy financially. Meanwhile, Diddy remains in custody, facing federal charges and multiple lawsuits, with his trial set for May.
Kanye West has thrown his support behind Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. Taking to social media on Thursday, February 6, West posted “FREE PUFF” on X, claiming that Diddy is being unfairly targeted. He followed up with more posts, calling out celebrities for staying silent and suggesting that authorities are using Diddy as an example to intimidate others.
Despite their past conflicts, West referred to Diddy as both an “idol” and “hero,” emphasizing that his support is about more than personal loyalty. In a move to further assist Diddy, West announced a new collaboration between his Yeezy brand and Diddy’s Sean John clothing line. He revealed that they had discussed the project before Diddy’s arrest and promised to split the profits evenly. The collection currently includes three T-shirts available on Yeezy.com.
West also shared a video call with Diddy’s son, Christian “King” Combs, calling it a show of solidarity for all sons with incarcerated fathers. Meanwhile, Diddy remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail multiple times. His legal team has strongly refuted the allegations, calling the prosecution unjust.
Diddy is scheduled to stand trial in May and is also facing more than 30 civil lawsuits related to alleged misconduct. He continues to deny all accusations, maintaining his innocence as he fights the charges in court.
