The APC has criticized Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Nasir El-Rufai, calling them incompetent and incapable of managing their affairs. Spokesman Felix Morka dismissed their claims against the ruling party, accusing them of desperate politicking ahead of 2027. He urged Atiku to focus on his party instead of electoral litigation.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly criticized opposition figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party’s Peter Obi, and ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, labeling them as incapable of managing their political affairs.
In a statement by APC spokesperson Felix Morka, the ruling party dismissed claims made by Atiku about judicial interference in Nigeria’s electoral system. Morka argued that Atiku, who has a long history of election-related legal battles, was being hypocritical in his criticism of the courts.
The APC maintained that Nigeria’s democracy remains intact despite the opposition's grievances. Morka urged Atiku and his counterparts to focus on strengthening their parties instead of making what he called baseless allegations.
He further accused the opposition leaders of attempting to stay politically relevant ahead of the 2027 elections by blaming the APC for their internal struggles. According to Morka, the failure of Atiku, Obi, and El-Rufai to effectively manage their parties undermines their credibility as national leaders.
The ruling party insisted that Nigerians would not be swayed by what it described as desperate political maneuvering. It urged opposition figures to engage in constructive dialogue and contribute meaningful solutions rather than resorting to political theatrics.
With elections approaching, political tensions continue to rise, with both the ruling and opposition parties exchanging accusations. However, APC insists that governance should take precedence over what it deems as distractions from failed politicians.
