NNPP leader Rabiu Kwankwaso criticizes the APC government, citing economic hardship, insecurity, and decaying infrastructure. Speaking at NNPP’s NEC meeting, he expressed confidence in defeating APC and PDP in 2027. He dismissed reports of party divisions, claiming opposition forces fund misinformation to weaken NNPP’s growing influence.

Rabiu Kwankwaso, former Kano State governor and NNPP leader, has criticized the APC-led government, claiming widespread dissatisfaction among Nigerians. Speaking at the NNPP National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja, he asserted that economic hardship, insecurity, and decaying infrastructure have worsened under APC rule.

Kwankwaso, who ran for president in 2023, expressed confidence that his party would defeat both APC and PDP in the 2027 elections if the polls were free and fair. He highlighted the struggles Nigerians face, emphasizing poverty and a lack of developmental efforts by the current administration.

Addressing internal party divisions, Kwankwaso dismissed reports of factional disputes within NNPP, stating that detractors spreading such claims were benefiting financially from political opponents. He likened them to those still identifying with defunct parties like CPC and ACN despite their merger into APC.

Kwankwaso maintained that NNPP remains united and positioned as the strongest alternative to Nigeria’s two dominant parties.
