The Nigeria Police Force has officially announced its 2023 recruitment for constables. The Police Service Commission and the Force issued this announcement through a bulletin on the Force X handle.
As per the announcement, the online application portal will be accessible from October 15th to November 26th, 2023, providing a six-week window for prospective applicants to apply. This recruitment drive welcomes both male and female candidates. Aspiring candidates must meet specific requirements, and successful applicants will proceed to an automated physical screening exercise, the date for which will be communicated later.

- Ensure you are of Nigerian origin by birth.
- Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Have a minimum of four credits in not more than two sittings, which should include English and Mathematics (WASSCE/SSCE or equivalent).
- Meet the age requirement, which is between 18 and 25 years.
- Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit for the role.
- Meet the height criteria: at least 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for females.
- Female applicants should not be pregnant at the time of entry.
- Possess a valid email address and phone number.
- Ensure that your SSCE statements of results or certificates relate to examinations taken before 2014.

- Registration:
- Create an account using your National Identification Number (NIN), email address, and phone number.
- Application Form:
- Complete the online application form provided on the portal.

- Upload your O’level results, birth certificate, and certificate of origin.
- Submission:
- After completing the online application form, submit it through the portal.
- Print Forms:
- Print both the completed online application form and the guarantor form.
- Physical Screening Exercise:
- Await communication regarding the automated physical screening exercise, which will be conducted nationwide on a later specified date.
