Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has adopted a strict diet to manage her recurring fibroids, avoiding red meat, dairy, refined sugars, and processed foods. After her fibroids reappeared post-surgery, Okojie is taking a holistic approach and steering clear of estrogen-rich foods to prevent further growth.

Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has embarked on a rigorous dietary regimen to manage the reoccurrence of her fibroids. Following her surgery in late 2020, which initially removed the fibroids, Okojie recently announced that the condition has returned. In response, she has chosen a holistic approach instead of undergoing additional surgery.

In a TikTok video shared on August 15, 2024, Okojie detailed her new dietary restrictions. She has eliminated red meat, including lamb, beef, and goat, as well as all processed meats. Her diet also excludes white carbohydrates like pasta, rice, and bread, along with dairy products, refined sugars, and processed foods. Additionally, she is avoiding carbonated beverages, caffeine, and high-sodium items.

Okojie emphasized that these dietary changes are aimed at reducing estrogen levels, which are believed to contribute to fibroid growth. She acknowledged the emotional challenge of dealing with the fibroids' return but expressed her commitment to this natural approach to treatment.
