CAF has scheduled Nigeria's final AFCON 2025 qualifiers. The Super Eagles will face Benin Republic on November 14 and Rwanda on November 18 in Uyo. The matches, managed by Senegalese and Moroccan officials, will determine Nigeria’s path to the tournament’s finals in Morocco in December 2025.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the dates for Nigeria's final two qualifying matches for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take on Rwanda in their last Group D game on November 18 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, kicking off at 5 p.m. Nigerian time. Moroccan officials, led by referee Samir Guezzaz, will oversee this game, with additional support from Zakaria Brinsi, Abdessamad Abertoune, and Kech Chaf Mustapha.
Before that, the Super Eagles will face the Benin Republic on November 14 at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny. This match will begin at 8 p.m. Nigerian time and will be officiated by a team from Senegal, headed by Issa Sy as referee.
CAF has appointed Prosper Harrison Addo of Ghana as match commissioner for the Rwanda game, while Ali Mohamed Ahmed of Somalia will assess the referees. The match against Benin will be managed by Ivorian commissioner Rene Williams Sere, with referee assessments by Angolan official Inacio Manuel Candido. These matches will be decisive for Nigeria’s path to the AFCON 2025 finals, which will be held in Morocco across December 2025 and January 2026.
