The Super Eagles have been drawn in Group L of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Guinea‑Bissau, Tanzania, and Madagascar. The draw was held in Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday. Nigeria has faced all three opponents in recent years: they met Guinea‑Bissau at the 2021 and 2023 AFCONs, beat Tanzania 2‑1 at the 2025 tournament, and defeated Madagascar 2‑0 in the 2019 group stage.
