Air Peace Limited assures customers that justice will be served following new allegations against CEO Allen Onyema and CFO Ejiroghene Eghagha. The company emphasizes both leaders' innocence and reassures that ongoing legal proceedings will not disrupt operations or affect its commitment to high-quality aviation services.
Air Peace Limited has reassured its customers that justice will be served in light of new allegations made against its CEO and founder, Allen Onyema. The United States authorities have expanded charges against him, claiming he obstructed justice by allegedly submitting false documents to impede a federal investigation. Alongside Onyema, Ejiroghene Eghagha, the airline’s Chief of Administration and Finance, has also been implicated in this obstruction scheme and previous bank fraud counts.
In a statement released on Sunday, Air Peace acknowledged that the recent charges are part of an ongoing legal process linked to earlier allegations of financial misconduct dating back several years. Despite the seriousness of the allegations, the airline emphasized that both Onyema and Eghagha maintain their innocence as the case progresses through the courts.
“Our legal team is fully engaged with the matter and is working tirelessly to ensure that justice prevails,” the airline stated, expressing confidence that the truth would emerge through due process, leading to the exoneration of its CEO and co-defendant. Air Peace has reiterated that the legal proceedings would not disrupt its operations, ensuring customers that they will continue to receive high-quality service.
Since 2019, Onyema and Eghagha have been under investigation for alleged money laundering activities. Nevertheless, Air Peace remains committed to providing an exceptional aviation experience in Nigeria and beyond, stating, “The dedication and focus of our staff remain steadfast as we continue to provide you with the best aviation experience.”
