Air Peace CEO Allen Onyema has announced plans to commence international flight operations from London to Gateway International Airport in Ogun State this summer. Speaking after inspecting the airport facilities, Onyema said the airline will operate flights connecting both London Gatwick and Heathrow airports to Ogun. He described the airport as "one of the best-equipped in Sub-Saharan Africa" with a four-kilometre runway capable of accommodating Airbus A380 aircraft. Governor Dapo Abiodun said cargo operations have already commenced with Allied Air and Ethiopian Airlines.
