Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo passed away at age 40 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Born in Port Harcourt on April 10, 1986, he began his acting career in 2003 with a role in Sinners in the House. Over his two-decade career, he won "Most Promising Actor" at the Best of Nollywood Awards in 2012, followed by "Best Supporting Actor" honours in 2013 and 2020. He appeared in numerous hit films, including The Bling Lagosians, Omo Ghetto: The Saga, and A Sunday Affair.
