Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim admits David Moyes is doing a better job at Everton, as United's struggles continue. With just four wins since November, Amorim faces mounting pressure ahead of their clash at Goodison Park. He remains committed to turning things around despite concerns over his management approach.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has conceded that David Moyes has done a better job revitalizing Everton than he has managing United.

Amorim, who replaced Erik ten Hag in November, has struggled in the Premier League, securing just four wins in 12 matches. Meanwhile, Moyes, who took over Everton in January, has already matched that win tally in only six games.

Both teams face off this Saturday at Goodison Park, their final meeting at the stadium before Everton relocates to a new home. Surprisingly, Everton currently sits 14th in the league, ahead of 15th-placed United.

When asked why Everton has seen an upturn in form under Moyes, Amorim candidly admitted: “Simple. David Moyes is doing a better job than me. That’s the reality. Winning games builds confidence, and Everton has that momentum. The pressure levels are also different.”

Amorim has previously acknowledged that his predecessors, Ten Hag and Ruud van Nistelrooy, had more success at Old Trafford this season. With growing scrutiny over his approach, some reports suggest that certain United players remain unconvinced by his methods.

Despite the struggles, Amorim remains committed to the challenge, insisting he has no regrets about taking the United job mid-season. “I knew the risks. It would have been easier to start fresh in the summer, but when Manchester United calls, you don’t say no,” he said.

A defeat to Everton this weekend would further increase the pressure on the Portuguese tactician.
