The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) lit up Lagos on Saturday night, celebrating the best in African film and television. The night belonged to Lisabi: The Uprising, Seven Doors, and a powerful return to form for Nollywood veteran Chioma Chukwuka.

Lateef Adedimeji’s Lisabi: The Uprising won Best Indigenous Language (West Africa), while Femi Adebayo took home Best Lead Actor for Seven Doors. Chioma Chukwuka claimed Best Lead Actress for the same film, cementing its position as one of the night's biggest winners.
