Five-time Grammy winner Angélique Kidjo has unveiled details of her upcoming album "Hope," a 14-track project arriving April 24 that represents five years of dedicated work. The album holds deep personal significance, dedicated to her late mother Yvonne who passed away five years ago. Kidjo enlisted a powerhouse lineup of Nigerian music stars including Davido, Ayra Starr, and the duo The Cavemen. Beyond Nigerian talent, the album features American superstars Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Quavo, Charlie Wilson, as well as French artists Florent Pagny and Dadju, Congolese star Fally Ipupa, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz, Brazilian singer Iza, and PJ Morton. The Soweto Gospel Choir also contributed. The collaboration continues Kidjo's musical relationship with Davido, following their 2024 track "Joy" and Davido's feature of Kidjo on "Na Money" from his "Timeless" album.
