Felix Morka, APC spokesperson, reveals receiving over 200 death threats following his response to Peter Obi's New Year message. Morka denies threatening Obi, stating the threats are a result of Obi's accusations. He has reported the threats to law enforcement, seeking justice for his family’s safety.

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has revealed that he has been the target of over 200 death threats following his comments about Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate. The threats stem from a heated exchange sparked by Morka's response to Obi’s New Year message, which criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Morka’s remarks were seen by some as an attack on Obi, leading to accusations that his words were a threat to Obi’s life. However, Morka firmly denies this, stating his comments were only in reaction to Obi’s criticisms and not intended as a threat. He explained that the accusations have led to serious consequences, with many of the threats detailing violent intentions toward him and his family.

In an interview, Morka explained that he has documented over 400 threats, including 200 death threats, and plans to submit them to law enforcement. He dismissed Obi's allegations as unfounded and challenged the Labour Party leader to provide evidence of any threats made against him. Morka reassured the public that he trusted the authorities would take swift action to investigate the matter and bring those responsible to justice.
