The Nigerian Army has initiated the recruitment process for the 87 Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen and women. The application process involves visiting the official portal at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng to complete a free online application form. Candidates are required to submit the form online and print a copy for reference. Additionally, they must print and complete the Guarantor Form as appropriate.
The recruitment exercise commenced on May 3, 2024, and is scheduled to conclude on June 7, 2024. Basic requirements include being single and Nigerian citizens by birth, possessing a National Identity Card/NIN slip, and meeting medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards as per Nigerian Army criteria. Applicants must also have a clean criminal record and possess a valid birth certificate/age declaration endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital, or Local Government Council, along with a valid certificate of state of origin.
Furthermore, applicants must meet specific height requirements (1.68 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females), age limits (18-22 years for non-tradesmen/women and 18-26 years for tradesmen/women), and educational qualifications (minimum of 4 passes in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB). Tradesmen/women applicants must also possess a Trade Test/City Guild Certificate.
