Ademola Lookman, the Nigerian forward for Atalanta, has been nominated for Serie A Forward of the Year at the prestigious Gran Galà del Calcio Awards. Lookman is up against Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram of Inter Milan, as well as AC Milan’s Rafael Leao.
Lookman’s impressive form last season, where he scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists across all competitions, earned him this nomination. His remarkable hat-trick in the Europa League final, leading Atalanta to a victory over Bayer Leverkusen, further solidified his position as one of Serie A's top performers. This season, Lookman has continued his fine form, contributing eight goals and five assists in just 14 appearances.
