Phrank Shaibu, Special Assistant to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for the reported escape of a detained Binance executive.
Shaibu accused Tinubu’s government of turning Nigeria's detention centers into amateur magician training grounds, allowing detainees to escape at will.
The escapee, identified as Nadeem Anjarwalla, fled from custody in Abuja on March 22. Sources revealed that Anjarwalla, who holds Kenyan citizenship, possibly left Nigeria on a Middle East airliner despite his British passport being held by Nigerian authorities.
Shaibu sarcastically dubbed the incident as "Nigeria's Got Escapes," mocking the government's security measures.
He ridiculed the situation on social media, suggesting that Nigeria's detention centers provide an escape room experience for detained executives.
Shaibu's comments highlight growing concerns over the effectiveness of Nigeria's security apparatus.
