Taiwo Awoniyi netted his first Premier League goal of the season as Nottingham Forest secured an emphatic 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Monday night. Awoniyi, appearing as a late substitute, found the net in stoppage time, capping off a dominant display by his team.

The match began with Forest asserting control early, with Morgan Gibbs-White opening the scoring in the 7th minute. Chris Wood doubled the lead just before halftime, giving the visitors a comfortable cushion. Awoniyi’s late contribution in the 94th minute sealed the win, marking his 15th league appearance this season.

Ola Aina also featured prominently, making his 20th league appearance, as Forest extended their winning streak to six consecutive Premier League matches.

This victory solidifies Forest's third-place position on the league table, tied with Arsenal at 40 points, and narrows the gap to league leaders Liverpool to six points. Liverpool, however, holds a game in hand.

Forest’s impressive form sets the stage for their upcoming FA Cup fixture against Luton Town, followed by a challenging league match at home against Liverpool.
