Reality TV star Mercy Eke reflects on her 2018 Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery, admitting she was influenced by trends without researching her surgeon. She now emphasizes the importance of thorough research and awareness of potential risks for future procedures, having learned from her experience.

In a recent interview, Mercy Eke, the popular reality TV star, shared her reflections on her experience with Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery, which she underwent in Nigeria back in 2018. Eke admitted that at the time, she was influenced by the prevailing trend and peer pressure, leading her to proceed with the surgery without adequately researching her surgeon's qualifications.

Looking back, she expressed regret over her lack of foresight regarding the potential risks associated with the procedure. "To be very truthful, it was initially because of the trend. I did my body in 2018," Eke stated. She emphasized that her decision was impulsive, as she felt pressure from others who were also enhancing their bodies. Although she was already slim, she felt insecure about her stomach and opted for the procedure.

Eke made it clear that if she ever considers undergoing surgery again, she will conduct thorough research on the surgeon's history, asking critical questions about their experience, complications, and patient outcomes. Since gaining fame as the winner of the fourth season of the BBNaija reality show in 2019, Eke has expanded her career into acting, featuring in notable films such as "Fate of Alakada" and "Shanty Town." Most recently, she participated in the BBNaija All-Stars season, where she finished as the first runner-up.
