Nina Ivy, former BBNaija contestant, shares her post-surgery challenges after undergoing breast reduction and lifting. She discusses allergic reactions to anesthesia and her pain management experience, highlighting her high pain tolerance and her satisfaction with her surgery results.
Nina Ivy, a former contestant from the 2018 edition of BBNaija, has candidly discussed the difficulties she faced following her recent breast reduction and lifting surgery. Ivy had previously shared her excitement about undergoing the procedure, describing it as a long-awaited dream fulfilled.
In a recent Instagram post, Ivy revealed the post-surgical challenges she encountered, including significant swelling around her eye, which she attributed to her allergy to general anesthesia. The reality TV star posted a video showing her face still recovering from the procedure, emphasizing that such reactions were expected given her sensitivity to the anesthesia.
"I always expect this after surgery because I react to general anesthesia," Ivy noted in her post. She explained that the video was recorded two days post-surgery when her face was still noticeably swollen.
Ivy also shared her experience with the pain associated with the surgery, rating it a 6 out of 10 on the pain scale. Despite the discomfort, she mentioned having a high pain tolerance, which helped her manage the pain better. "It is very painful, but you have pain medications to help with the discomfort. Seeing the results and feeling good about my body makes it worth it," she added.
Ivy gained fame on BBNaija's "Double Wahala" season, which was ultimately won by Miracle Igbokwe. Her openness about her post-surgical journey provides insight into the physical and emotional aspects of undergoing such a procedure.
