New Super Eagles coach Bruno Labbadia will retain his German assistants, including Erdinç Sözer, Olaf Janßen, and Bernhard Trares, as he starts his role. These experienced coaches have previously collaborated with Labbadia at various clubs, reflecting his strategy for a successful integration into his new position.

Bruno Labbadia, recently appointed head coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles, plans to maintain his trusted German assistants as part of his coaching staff.

As he begins his tenure, Labbadia will bring in at least two foreign assistants, including Erdinç Sözer, Olaf Janßen, and Bernhard Trares.

Sözer, who has been a key figure in Labbadia's previous roles at clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart, is expected to be a primary assistant.

Trares, a former centre-back, has worked with Labbadia since 2015, and Janßen, currently managing Viktoria Köln, has collaborated with Labbadia since 2018.

The inclusion of these experienced assistants reflects Labbadia's commitment to a familiar and effective support team as he integrates into his new role with the Super Eagles.
