Biola Odutayo’s legal team defends her against cyberbullying following the accident that killed Bumpa co-founder Teejay Opayele. They refute claims of reckless driving and insist she sought immediate medical help. As misinformation spreads, they urge the public to allow due process to determine the facts.

The legal team representing Biola Odutayo has condemned the public backlash against her following the accident that claimed the life of Bumpa co-founder, Teejay Opayele. Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Olukayode Enitan refuted claims of reckless driving, stating that Odutayo had the right of way when Opayele’s motorcycle collided with her vehicle.

Witnesses assert that Odutayo, despite being disoriented from the impact, directed immediate medical assistance for Opayele. However, misinformation spread on social media has subjected her to harassment and threats. Her legal team insists she voluntarily reported to the police and did not flee the scene, contrary to allegations.

They urge the public to allow due process to determine responsibility instead of resorting to online "cyber-lynching." Meanwhile, Opayele’s untimely passing continues to spark mourning within the tech community, though his family has yet to issue an official statement.
