China has condemned Donald Trump's remarks about "clearing out" Gaza, calling it an overreach. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun asserted that Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people and is not a political tool. China reaffirmed support for Palestinian sovereignty and urged global powers to aid Gaza's reconstruction.

China has strongly criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump for his remarks about "clearing out" the people of Gaza. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated that Gaza is not part of the United States and belongs to the Palestinian people, condemning Trump's stance as overreaching.

Speaking at a press briefing, Jiakun asserted that Gaza should not be treated as a political bargaining chip and called for the international community, especially major nations, to provide humanitarian aid rather than worsen the situation. He emphasized that Palestine must not become a target of oppression and that the war has already inflicted immense suffering on Gaza's residents.

China reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Palestinian national rights and opposed any forced displacement of Gaza’s population. Jiakun also reiterated China’s stance on a two-state solution, advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders.

The Chinese official urged global powers to work towards a political resolution that ensures the sovereignty of Palestine. He also highlighted China’s readiness to collaborate with international stakeholders to achieve lasting peace in the region.

Trump’s comments had sparked backlash, with critics accusing him of escalating tensions. While his supporters claim he aims to protect U.S. interests, many countries, including China, view his approach as harmful to Middle East stability.

The controversy adds to ongoing geopolitical friction, as global powers remain divided over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Gaza's future.
