In Ogun State, a 62-year-old woman has succumbed to cholera, marking the first fatality from the disease. She reportedly contracted cholera from her sick son, one of five currently hospitalized across four local government areas: Obafemi Owode, Ado-Odo/Ota, Abeokuta South, and Ijebu North. State Health Commissioner Dr. Tomi Coker confirmed a total of 14 cases, urging residents to maintain hygiene and report any symptoms promptly.
